Freestyle Battles
For all those who are following the thread.
i got bored at work so i did a quick test.
I created two Resume, identical from top to bottom with one exeption.
one of the names i put is Jason Clamor and the other one Jamal Clamor.
I have great experience, i can sell my self and 80% of the time i get the job i apply for (if they interview me, regarding about information technology)
I went to hotjobs at yahoo.com and sent out 2 resumes to five companies in DC, Annapolis and Baltimore with the same credentials but different names
i was not so surprise to recieve four phone calls looking for "Jason Clamor" rather than my other cellphone that did not recieve any call for "Jamal Clamor".
then i thought to myself, i am kind of racist in my own ways. even if 90% og my friends are black id still rather hire someone that was the same nationality as my self(given that if two people were identical and one was white and one was filipino).
i think most if not all people are racist in small doses. the difference is how a person express their feelings towards the subject.

p.s. racism is a feeling of hate towards another race not a word.

I wish everyone had the same mentality. I said something the other night at a bar that got totally turned completely inside-out with no intention of racism at ALL. I can't even remember what I said because it was so in passing, but there were two guys claiming I made a racist statement towards them. Until my black buddy walked up next to me and asked what was going on, then they said "nuthin man" and walked away. Kind of seemed like they were fishing for a reason to claim racism, despite my intentions, and realized I wasn't racist when I was there hanging out with another buddy who matched their race.
It all seems so silly to me
It's about the meaning behind what you say, and how it's intended.
