I've slept with lots of female friends. Hasn't messed up anything, and probably won't if you're mature enough and establish beforehand that it's just for the fun of it.
If the two of you couldn't handle that, and she's hot, hit it anyways. With that much sexual tension, it'll be good, and it'll probably end in you not talking to her for 6 months+ no matter what you do.
