i've seen this movie no less than 20 times at least on cable, and each time i see it, i can't help but be touched and amazed by the emotions it stirs up. it's a good war movie.

but i have to say my all time favorite is "Kelley's Heroes".

Yep All great movies, I just watched Kelleys Heros tonight, That an fight club, so I'm a little over stimulated.

Yes, it was "Full Metal Jacket" as well - a fine Stanley Kubrick Film.

Which we almost forgot - Dr. Strangelove! Slim Pickin's riding a nuke - classic!

 

Full Metal Jacket is great. Also love Steve McQueen on his bike ride in the Great Escape. A little corny but lots of good actors and a plauseable plot (enhanced version of history)

 

Gunnery Sargent Hartmen is the scariest character in history of cinema. Great move, but once they get to Viet Nam it kinda goes down hill.
