Fun Jobs...
Well I am 20 years old and I absolutley hate my job. I am looking to go to school for a job that pays well but is also fun. Let me know what you do for a living and how much someone would expect to get payed in that field. I would also like to know how long you went to school, ect.

Well there are a good number of jobs that pay well and are fun, but some require certain education backgrounds, experience and the right connections.
I am not a lot of help but some that come to mind for me, if I had a million bucks in the bank and weren't really taking a risk by dropping my career are:
- Entertainment journalism (ie, night life in a metropolis like LA, NY, Toronto, etc.)
- Automotive sales for a specialized/niche dealer such as Lotus, Ferrari, etc.
- Project Management/Product Development for an established aftermarket automotive parts company
- Casino Owner. Shouldn't be too hard to start one up
Having said all that, I love being a Corporate Recruiter for engineering and technical positions and it's something that anybody can do as long as they have a solid technical aptitude and people skills. Your income is only limited by you ability to track down people that companies can't afford to spend time finding themselves. Create networks of high quality people in their respective fields and develop those relationships to enable you access to the most desirable people in their industries to supply your clients with them.
You might place people in a permanent position and take a cut of the fee that your company charges the client for the search. Have people working on contracts through your company and take a cut of the markup of them being placed in the field. If you figure that you have contractors in the field with just a take of $.50-1.00 an hour each, then place just 4 of them each month, the sum of your commissions after one year of maintaining that 48 people will be :
48 x $.50-1.00 = $24-48/hour
Annually that's $49,920 - $99,940 in commissions alone.
+ Base Salary
That's not a high commission by any means, I'm using very low numbers, and not including any permanent placements which could yield you up to a couple grand each. Include a couple of those each month and you're breaking $100k very easily when coupled your base salary. Start managing accounts and taking commissions on the placements that other recruiters make with your clients and the numbers get even bigger.
The only reason I don't make more money right now is that I enjoy having a lot of fun at work and outside of it. If I put my head down and focused more and removed some of the other things in my life that consume massive amounts of time I'd be making pooploads of money.
Just something to think about.

I am currently unemployed (by choice). It's the best job I've ever had.

define fun.....
we could offer up all kinds of jobs that we enjoy but you may not like.
what do you enjoy doing? If we knew more about your likes we could probably offer up more constructive advice.
