id buy one just for mario party.....if you are alone in the house with three other buddys, there is no better game on earth like mario party
but i like the PS2 100x better.....its just more mature and has the better games

 

I have a GameCube, PS2, and XBOX. The GameCube is cool and has some nice niche games. The top games for GameCube can hold their own against the top games for the other two platforms, but in the end, I think the other two platforms just offer a much greater variety of games. Ultimately, my personal order of preference would be:

#1. XBOX
#2. PS2
#3. GameCube

 

gamecube is awesome. both metroid prime and zelda ruined a few months of my life

i think i you should get a game boy sp if you want to go ol skool, with all the mario, metroid, zelda, etc remakes . go for a cube, if your into the more addicting type games, but if your more into action or type games go for a ps2 cant forget about the GTA games with GTA V (San Andreas) due in October and also Grand Tourismo 4.What about halo 2 for the X box? damn all of have their own uniqueness so i guess its up to you on your choice. good luck with what you choose.

 

I do agree that XBOX and PS2 has a better selection and variety of games.. but Im just thinking.. considering the avg game has about 25 hours of gameplay (Single Player), a small library of good games would more than suffice (assuming I don't play non-stop, one game will probably last at least a month for the casual gamer).. hmmmm.. I dunno though, I seriously thought i'd grow out of video games eventually, it's one of those things that stick with you regardless of age, so addicting.
