Vtecmom, the +1 and I went for a mountain drive today up on the Blue Ridge Parkway (Virginia) and there were acres and acres of wild foxglove with HUGE bloomstalks. All of them were white, but they were OUTSTANDINGLY beautiful. I'd never seen them blooming in the wild. I would have dug up a few, but the federal preserve is weird about stuff like that, so I left them. Wish I'd had my camera, but didn't even think of taking it.

yeah I have seen white ones before in the wild as well
Glad you din't yank any wouldn't want you in jail

I agree! Fancy camera, or just good at picture taking or both?
Ugh, good thing I posted up my grass photos when I did. I fertilized this past Saturday. I watered real good, but I burnt an area of the back grass. I could cry.
I used 26-13-0 fertilizer. I always have, and have never had a problem. Just water the heck out of it.

It will come back. I leave lawn fertilizing to my +1. He's the real gardener in our house, and he's had a few "accidents" with fertilizer too.

I couldn't handle it, so I went out and bought 3 yards to sod. My Dad installed it last night.

gotta have a green lawn!We are starving for rain in this area.....we've been watering frequently, but the lawn is still burnt in many areas. Hubby is ready to replace it with rocks or astro turf.
