Default Gas! Gas! Gas!

I am pretty sure everyone has heard, but if not, gas prices will be skyrocketing any minute now. I have heard it will be anywhere from $3-$6 a gallon by tomorrow. Every gas station in our city is jammed full of people, but if you are low on gas and drive a lot, I would recomend getting it now before the price goes up. Just thought I would let you guys know.

From many people. I'm not exactly sure the reason, but basically we will be recieving no oil from the mid-east so the prices per barrell are going way up. My explanation may not be too clear, but I do know it will happen. Go drive by your local gas station and you will see what I am talking about. I drove by 5 gas stations on the way home just now and each one had about 40-50 people at them.
If anyone has any more info about the gas crisis, please feel free to add it.

One of the last things that happened before the markets closed was Oil prices jumped up large. Nortel on the other hand..but that's a different story.

The price jumped because the New York Mercantile Exchange (where prices on oil and other commodities are determined) was blown up in WTC building 1. There is no organized market to buy and sell oil right now.

Gas prices will be fine.

As of 3 pm cst the price of fuel at midnight tonight will rise around 10 cents a gallon. Some oil companies have already raised the price with mid-afternoon jumps. The highest I have seen is 31 cents but this is off brand. I look for a 10 jump at 12 am tonight. Firm prices will be faxed to me at around 5 or 6 pm today. Buying and selling gas is what I do just incase your wondering. These prices are local suppliers and do not reflect all locations.
