People with names like Shaydonilla or Tanikqua are put at a disadvantage from the get go. Studies show, for example, that people with names along those lines are less likely to get a call back on a resume submittal.

I picked names hopefully the majority would be able to say in the US for my Indian race children. They still **** it up as least based on spelling, but at least they can say it.
I have friends who picked names that are the same as white people names for their kids. I don't want to do that. Personally I think that's selling out too much. Sure non whitey names get butchered, but especially in Populated California it's so nice to have such a great mix of people. I love the unusual cultural names. They are so cool.
