Besides, Her working 8 days per month at minimum wage somewhere wouldnt even pay the minimum payment.
just pimp her out for a couple of months. if she's really good, she'll make that $4K in no time.

Continue to make the payments on time for the next 6 months and call them to get the APR reduced or back to where it once was. Be ready to provide a reason as to why the payment was missed.

Don't transfer cc debt to another cc. Revolving debt stays on your credit report for a while.

Minimum wage in PA starting 7/1/07 = $7.15

8 days x 8 hours = 64 hours of work

64 hours x $7.15 = $457.60

$4,000 / $457 = 9 months (depending on tax withheld) to pay off her whole CC

First of all, the most important question.... how the hell do you spend $4k at Walmart?! That's like... furniture for two homes.

Seriously though, if she has decent credit she'll be able to get a card with a MUCH lower rate. If her credit isn't good enough for that, she doesn't have much choice but to either live with the debt, sell something, or get a part-time job.

[QUOTE=Dizings2k,Jun 14 2007, 04:57 AM] What are some options to get away from this 25% interest rate? At this point I cant afford to make more than the minimum payment to even eat away that the principal alittle bit.

It sounds like you two are in this together. Are you living together? You have a shared bank account? Well then it's obviously too late for you to cut and run.

So your GF cooks and cleans for you, owes $4000, and yet you have two cars and a bike? No offense, but that seems rather irresponsible. If I were you, first thing I'd do is sell one of my toys to help her/you both out. Second thing I'd do is look long and hard at why I couldn't figure that out without help from strangers on the internet.

LOL - 2006 CBR 1000RR - $11,499
1998 Grand Chero - $5000 + $10k in mods - $15,000
2003 S2000 bought in 05 for $26,000

We are in it together. We live together, have been together for 4 years. Living for 2 yrs.

Im not going to sell my toys because not one penny of that CC is mine. Im not giving up the things I work hard for for that. Especially because she hid it from me until now.

I can afford over and above the minimum payment. Just not enough to make any kind of dent in the balance.
