Getting out of CC debt..
Strike 1: You're 19 (per the profile information) and have a girlfriend.
Strike 2: You're living with her
Strike 3: You're considering paying off her debt.
It's my esteemed opinion you're F'd. If you'd like to un-F yourself:
1. Move out.
2. Dump her.
3. Don't have a serious girlfriend until you're 25 and have a way better idea of how the rest of your life/career is going to pan out.
If you insist on staying, yes, sell one of your toys. Now.

I may consider selling the S2000 and picking up an 07 when this is all said and done.

Cunit.. Uhh.. You have quite a memory!
I see where you guys are coming from but.. No Im not giving up my bike. I just bought it. Either way, its worth more than $5k.
Im not living paycheck to paycheck. Ive got plenty left over every week, but Im certainly not well off for any reason. Im only 19.. how could I be?
Thanks again guys.. Im probably going to let the S2000 go this summer.

If you really mean it, it's going to read like this:
[QUOTE]Thanks again guys.. I've learned my lesson, and as such, I'm selling the S2000 tomorrow.
Why is everyone telling him to sell his stuff? Just go with the earlier suggestions, get a new CC, like one from Citi - they give credit to anyone - and transfer your balance. Then, pay off as much as she/you can afford and get rid of that debt quickly.
With three vehicles paid off, getting a $4k loan from your Credit Union should be cake. Of course, you'd have to take it out, pay off her debt, and then have her pay you back with interest - risk to you, but if you're serious about shared responsibility, there ya go.
Draw up a contract and both of you sign it, jic she doesn't pay and you have to go to small claims.
Cut up her Walmart card, but leave the account open, and really monitor her credit habits.

Thanks for all the replies guys.
Ill see about transferring the card.. If not, Ill go to the credit union.
No, I dont have $4k in the bank because Yes, I have all these toys and modding them is expensive dammit!
I also dont have $4k on a CC though either..
Her getting another job is not really a feasible option. She works 5 days a week as a hair stylist. Her working another 2 would just make our townhouse look like sh!t inside and I wouldnt have a cooked meal.
Besides, Her working 8 days per month at minimum wage somewhere wouldnt even pay the minimum payment.
Thanks again guys,
Dustin

I agree with the guys that said get a new card with a low to zero percent starting rate. Chase usually has good cards that have the first year at zero percent. That should give your girlfriend a decent amount of time to get started on the payments.
