Default Getting pissed off here at this site.

I wondered why XViper left this site, and now Im beginning to realize why.

Here is a PM I just left a mod. I have been going through this for 2 weeks now and nothing has been resolved.

I do not know where this "bad attitude" is coming from, but whatever, I have added so much to this site I dont know where to start.
I have 50 people to vouch for me to this guys one.
I can not send you the link as it states that Im not allowed to view that thread

Here is the situation.

I sold this guy 4 brand new never used RC Injectors and plug and play harnesses. The were put in my car and the ignition was turned on but not started, to see if there were any leaks. This was when I was going turbo, I then changed my mind and sold my turbo kit and got a SC, not needing the injectors any more.
I put them for sale and this guy bought them.
He is from the UK though and I did not want to ship overseas.
He had me send them to a "friend" in New York which would then send him to him in the UK. He opted not to pay extra for Insurance to NY. What happened to them after the guy in NY received them I do not know.
Did he pull a switcharoo?
Did he open the package and not pack it back correctly.
Did he pay for insurance to the UK.
I dont know.
I do know however that I sent these injectors brand new from RC to him.
I told him he could return them to RC they are under warranty, but he refused because it is too much of a hassle. He wants his money back, but I am not willing to do that as I have proven that I was not negligent in this situation. Also on my paypal I put in the comments as I do with all transactions, the item is sold as is.

Do as you wish, but I think I strongly have proven myself here.
If you do not wish to reinstate my selling rights, please refund my membership fee as that is the reason I paid for the membership.

What do you think?

What are you talking about, this is the ONLY guy that said I am a bad seller.

Im not here to screw people, Im a business owner, I know how things work.

These are conflicting statements to me. "Brand new" to me means: As it would be received from a store. As in: NOT INSTALLED.

If I recall, the poster in question was upset that the injectors he received looked like they've been used, when they were advertised as NEW. Given your admission that you installed them once, I'd have to side with him until you can prove otherwise.

Did you take photos before you sent them to prove their condition?

i agree with the first part, but in that thread JDM did post up PMs and photos sent to the buyer about the actual condition of the injectors and that they had been installed. just from reading that thread, i'd say he was fine in what happened...but who knows.

just for the future, i wouldn't call anything that has been installed "brand new".

I dont get why that makes this a crappy site, and I have no idea why Xviper left.

A buyer and a seller have a disagreement over a sale on the internet. Happens everyday. Why is the site to blame?

You are right, I should say sight admins.
I hate to call them out, but they are not helping me in anyway and seemed to immediately side with this guy, because my selling privileges were just revoked, without asking me any questions what so ever on what happened.

I sent the buyer 3 pictures of the injectors and 5 pictures on how to properly install them.

He also knew that they were installed but never used.

So just a quick question, I sold my turbo as brand new, although I had it bolted to a manifold and the manifold bolted to my engine, then decided against it. Does this now make the turbo used?

If they guy has the item, refuses to send it back to the manufacturer (or you?), but wants his money back, I don't see why you'd have to do anything, plus, I don't see why your selling privileges were revoked unless there is some trend here only admins are privy to. Does the buyer want to send the item back to you and you're refusing?

No
He just wants his money back.
I am not willing to accept them back now though, its been 4 months since I sold them and they switched hands before they got to him.

Yes. If the turbo is taken out of its original packaging it is Used. Add to that the fact that it was installed, it is no longer considered new regardless of the fact that it never spooled up.
