I find myself wanting to race all the time. Getting on line and racing with everyone, man it's addicting. Graphics are awesome, game play rocks, I can't get enough of it. Meeting some cool people too.

I'm glad to see that I'm not alone in my insanity. I haven't owned a game system since, well, forever. Got the system for Christmas and went out and bought a cheesy steering wheel right away. My wife comes in and says, aren't you going to bed yet? As I had just pissed away the better part of 8 hours behind the wheel.....

Hey everyone, i am interested in buying an Xbox this summer...Are there good racing games apart from Gotham Racing? Because I only play racing games. HOw is PGR2? Is the gameplay on par with Gran Turismo 3? Or should i expect more of an arcade (i.e. Need For Speed) style?

 

The game rocks. I am totally addicted too. Perhaps we could put together an S2K only race one night? I am not brillaint at it but at least I race clean

I think the online element completely blows away any other racing game. Its so cool to complete a race, time trial or whatever (even in single player mode) and instantly be told your world ranking. The driving physics may not be totally realistic but it is excellent fun and you can certainly feel the difference between different cars. There is a huge number of challenges in single player mode too.
