girl ?
Here is the approach of a friend of mine......
"Hey, would you like to go out sometime?"
"Um, I have a boyfriend."
"I don't care, I want to go out with you anyway."
Works for him about 80% of the time and he is NOT a looker. Just a great personality. Most of these girls know the guy they are dating is not "THE" one, so why not cut bait and move on. Either that or they are just loose skanks, I don't know.

Commitment at our age is for peeps with serious security issues, how so? Whats the divorce and infidelity rate and percentages again, kthxbye!! Seriously, i gots betta things to spend my cheddar on than legalized prostituion (commitment/marrage). And notice, only person who would call me a looser for that statement is a woman! and who gets the fat alimony and child support pay outs on a divorce, surely not men on the average!!
Remember.. one day you will be that a-hole if everything goes to plan. Do you want to be on the other side of the table? The scenario changes but people remain the same. That translates in to she'll always be looking for a way out instead of having some character and just ending it when it needs to be done.
You learn to avoid this kind of broad in 95% of situations. The odds are against you.

wow, you guys are making her out to be some kind of tramp.
I was just confused as to why a girl who seems to know that I was going to ask her out never led on to the fact she had a BF until I actually asked. She had many, many chances to sneak that into conversation, too.
I guess she wanted me to ask, but why?
It's just a little strange to me. I'm keeping my options open but if she ditches the beau I'll have her. No friend zone, but I'll still be my pleasant, subtly flirty self but nothing more.

Because she wants the attention, that's why. It's like an aphrodesiac or something. She want to know that she's "got it." A lot of girls really seem to suck at object permanence.....well, concept permanence I guess in this case. You can't tell them something and leave it at that, they need to hear it again and again and....
