One of my ex was so jeolous - it wasn't even Pron. I'm not to read even R-rated mags - like SI swimsuit or a Vict Secret catalog (her copy). I was living in Socal at the time and couldn't attend a Hooters meet wiht the boys.

I didn't read the whole thread before commenting so some of the stuff might be a repeat. I advise you sit down and talk to her. Make sure you aren't doing anything to make her feel not sexy. Though you might not mean to do it on purpose... sometimes you might not give her the attention she once got when you two first got together.

I'm pretty sure you know something has to compromise if not... then goodbye.

 

agree with the last post, you probably shouldn't be together for the long run. you obviously have different value systems and it will show up in many different areas, esp after you get married. so, even if you get through this tough time, the problem won't go away. good luck, dude.

 

Some more food for thought for ya.

Case 1, my ex, I had no problems with that. We would watch that stuff together, etc. Our relationship was pretty strong in that department. He had a good strong sex drive and at times I would just tell him to f off and just go watch some $$$$$$. No P0rn related issues at all.

Case 2, totally different relationship. Major p0rn issues on my part. First of all I never felt satisfied, never felt like I was treated like a woman should, didn't get enough affection or attention. When it came to intimacy, the guy knew what he was doing, but there was no pasion, things would come grinding to a halt for no apparent reason. The guy had the sex drive of a 10yr old girl, or so I thought. Turned out he would much rather jerk off to $$$$$$ then be with a real woman. I even had that said to my face, not much of a confidence booster. So in this situation, I completely felt rejected and like I was made to compete with the $$$$$$ (and worst of all it wasn't even good $$$$$$!! talk about slap in the face!), and yes, I felt increadibly bitter and oh so angry.

Moral of the story... Guys look at p0rn, so do some girls. It means the same to both. The only time it's an issue is if a person is insecure and majority of the time it's the girls that feel insecure because we're constantly pitted against immages some of us have no chances to compete with and when it happens in our own homes and in our own bedrooms it's that much more personal and hurtful.

All you can do is make sure that your gf has no reasons to feel insecure about how much she means to you. If you've really done all you can, then maybe you're not all that compatible after all.

...She insecure if she's looking through your files... I would definately confront her about it. I would simply tell her "It's $$$$$$... who cares?". You really think your girlfriend does not look at other men and think something? It's just human nature.

Anyways, if she's insecure, it's not going away. She will always be overly-curious and protective of you, herself, and your relationship.

Unless you know something I don't... just go about your life and disregard her insecurities. See what happens... it may be the best medicine. (oh, and BTW... I wouldn't worry too much if she tries to threaten you - it's a bluff )

1. Maybe she feels she cannot compete with the really beautiful women who get trapped into porno shots.
2. Maybe she is a feminist. It makes her feel sick that you like degraded women. Somewhat like free black people felt sick when they had to deal with people who approved of slaves or owned slaves.
