just listening to some replies here, you can see that even with advanced warning, they continue to think everything is no big deal.
I'd agree with that to some extent. I do think the earth is warming, and I do think we are contributing. What I question is how much we are at fault and how much is beyond our control.

I do, however think that it won't kill me in my natural lifetime but there will be places with very severe consequences. And not to sound like I care about most of the third worl poops holes, some of the poorest countries could be in the biggest trouble.

Thats why I recommend the Gore movie. Again, I aint a Gore fan, I thought the guy was kinda of a mushy douche. But if you watch his movie and look at some of the arguments presented, it makes a nice case and presents an interesting thoery.

Everyone has heard the theories that if the ice caps melt that sea levels could rise 20 ft. Maybe true, maybe not. But it was fascinating to see what it would do in terms of flooding to coastal cities. He had maps that would show water levels and in China alone, would displace, oh pulling this out of my foggy memory, over 60 million people. Even if it is just an unproven theory, its powerfull to see it played out in computer animation.
