Glock 23 + KKM Barrel
I recently purchased a drop in replacement barrel for my 23. Having read both good and bad reviews of the KKM line I was interested to see for myself.
This is the gun as it is now, Glock 23, KKM Match barrel, Tungsten rod and uncaptured 22lb spring.

This is an NRA standard 50 foot target shot at 50 feet earlier today:

The difference is night and day. Much less rise much more accurate. Well worth the money spent. I had always felt my 23 while reliable was not accurate enough -- and for years thought that perhaps the issue was me.

yes that is excellent.
many here will no doubt say that isn't THAT good, but most people here have never shot a pistol or have never target shot with a pistol.
It is VERY difficult.
BTW, was that standing or sitting and free-handed or braced?
free-handed standing, that would be extremely excellent.
I was thinking of getting a handgun, and glock is what I'm leaning toward. I was thinking of the 29-30 (whichever is the 10mm).

My Glock 20 shoots full power loads of Double Tap 10mm ammo (Gold Dot 165gr. @ 1400fps/ 718ft/lbs) and I feel the 22lb spring is too stiff sometimes.
I love my G19
I am running a Tungstun guide rod with 20lb spring(anything heavier was not needed), I only use +P ammo... I really like Corbon.
Pondered the KKM, thanks for the review!

What loads are you shooting to be using a 22lb spring with that .40?

Scary story -- one lane over two middle aged ladies were shooting FBI AT99's at the first station with .45's. I swear I heard over 40 rounds go off -- and 4 were on the target with another 5 or so clipping the bottom of the target. The safest place to be with those two was in front them jumping.

My friends tell me the safest place for them to be while I'm playing golf is the middle of the fairway. One of my clients owns a large shooting sports facilty. It is amazing how many shots the wall, ceilings and floor have taken just a foot from the booth. When the lanes are full I don't usually want to shoot anymore.
i have a glock 19 (i think)... it is a 9mm and has a pretty normal legnth barrel.
I used it once and we couldn't freaking hit shit....... i think the target was probably 50 feet away... we at least hit the paper a few times.
