Default Going To Scotland!

Monday morning I telephone Cross Country International to book a week's trip in Scotland for my bride and myself. We'll fly into Glasgow on October 2 and spend the next six days horseback riding cross country on lands owned by the Duke of Argyll - he is, coincidentally, head of the Campbell Clan. We'll be staying at various inns and estates along the way, and visit Carnassary Castle, Loch Fyne, and Inveraray Castle. The riding, I'm told, is extremely vigorous: lots of cantering and galloping through forests and rolling hills, a fair amount jumping, even the chance to take the horses for a swim or a gallop along the beach.

In an interesting coincidence, on the day we arrive we'll be meeting a Scottish magician at Scotland's largest wedding show, and get to learn his secret to booking 25 - 30 wedding receptions every year.

I'll try to take lots of pictures and post them after we return.

This is too cool!

Sounds like a great trip. I'm working on a trip for our 20th next year. Right now it looks like AK. is the first choice.

I look forward to the pictures.

If you go to Scotland, you gotta play the old course at St Andews.
