Default Golf Irons

Not wanting to hijack the other thread on this subject, I'm starting my own.

I have been using all manner of golf irons for many years now and I still have not found one that will do the job for me. I've tried Sunbeam, Black & Decker, Oster, GE and brands that I can't even remember now.

No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to be able to flatten those little dimples on the golf ball. Should I be using the "steam" function? Should the iron be set on "linens" or "delicates"? Please help! Those little dimples are giving me nightmares.

The Gutta Percha doesn't have any dimples, but they haven't made it in over 150 years.

Well, that's 'cause they didn't have nice irons 150 years ago.
