Good multipurpose exercising shoe?
Well, seeing as my current ones have almost no tread left on the soles, I am now looking for a new work-out shoe.
What multipurpose exercising shoes out there are a good value for under $50? Breathable and durable with a grippy sole would be great.
My main uses of the shoe will be to run (concrete/grass/sand/rubber) and play basketball (wood/concrete).
Thanks!

$9.
I have a pair for basketball and they've held up really well. Stark price difference to my running shoes.

I've had New Balances my last couple shoes and have been happy with them. Durable, comfortable and can typically be purchased less than $50. Their cross-training shoes are a mid-rise, which seem to be tougher to find among brands these days. Good for hoops as it gives a bit more support to the ankle as compared to a low-rise but also more comfortable to do pure running as compared to a high-top basketball shoe.
