Google G1 phone vs. 3G iPhone...Updated
I have a Tilt/8529 and generally love WM devices (this is flashed with L26 ROMs and WM6.1) - this one has a real GPS (that works with all sorts of 3rd part apps), BT/WiFi/3G, tethers great for wireless access from a notebook, physical KB, MSD slot (I have just a 1GB in it right now). It replaced my 8525 which was also a great phone.
Also got the Android distro (which was an early release) that runs on top of a small Linux kernel on the HTC phones. Kind of interesting, very minimalist, simple navigation: the real perk will be tapping into all the services that Google offers (and the potential for huge open source development.)
I'm generally not into Apple products, but when it came time for an MP3 player we went with an 80GB video as soon as I found out you could run it without iTunes. Several greats apps for music management like Song Bird and Media Monkey (and device managers like Floola).
Anyway, all that being said, the Wifey
