so i was coming back from working driving my friends beater civic. i pass by a cop, didnt give shit since i wasnt doing anything illegal. the cop pulls me over and tells me "your left front headlight is out" i tell him "yes officer i know that i have the replacement bulb right here" i show him the bulb which was bought the day before. then he tells me "also your license plate light in the rear is out" i think for a second and ask "oh really? can i check?" cop replies "NO" then he gives me a fix it ticket and lets me go.

after getting home i check my license plate light. THE FREAKING THING WAS WORKING!!!!

Who cares honestly? Put a new bulb in, show it to them, and go on living. At least he didn't give you any real citations.

Yes indeed cops are dicks. I once had a cop stop me because he said I ran over a bottle in the middle of the road. I asked him if he stopped the one who put the bottle there in the first place. He didn't expect me to say anythign like that so he just put on his tough cop routine.

F**in assholes.
