That case was comming over the Sunshine skyway bridge, a PIG rode my ass the whole way and i was 5 mph under the speed limit the whole way, and finally after i get off the bridge and exit around US-41 the PIG pulls me over, gives me that lame ass self incriminating question "Do you know why i pulled you over"... how stupid does he take me for and i answer I have no idea. He then tells me that i have a tail light out, then i say, Officer i have nothing on my, may i get out and see the tail light. He agrees and points at the right rear and says, "This one right here was out".... OK, since when do LED Taillights burn out? ANd it was workin fine when I looked at it.... I was furious, i then asked for his name and badge number and there it went, Go St.Pete PIG Dept, for having nothing better to do than profile safe an cautious drivers in an attempt to get a better evaluation.

P.S. PIGS dont have quotas, they have evaluations, and when evaluated from one period to the next, guess what if they wrote les citations this month than last month.

I usually give police respect. However when I see a power tripp'n cop it's a joke and they're usually some migit that aint shit without the badge.

Since this is in relation to getting hassled while driving, I hate it when police scan your plates, lately I switch lanes immediately so they get the idea.... Get off my Ass Biaaatch. I hate prick cops, especially when your legit and not doing anything wrong.

The extreme measures aren't necessary at all times.

I agree, routine plate scans is a good idea in cause someone has stolen it. But this forum was titled something about being hassled wasnt it?? I have had a routine plate scan a time or 2 and thanked the officer, the 2 times they did it, they directly told me why the pulled me over without he "Question" , examined my license and registration and let me go. Thats a good example of fine police work and a respectable officer. However, doing a tail gate for over 20 somthing miles then asking why he pulled you over when you are dead innocent is more of harassment

So please if i may make a motion to keep this to Harassment experiences and less flaming?

Subby, I think that's just because you look like one very sketchy individual.

And as far as you, ImportSport, my god! I can't believe you haven't been pulled over yet. You look like one of the biggest trouble-makers out there.

Just kidding, guys! Being a ball-buster is a part-time hobby of mine.

Sorry. I didn't realize that this was a one sided discussion only. I don't think I was out of line on that comment, though.
