Just to ad my 0.2C, I don't get the suspicious questions, but i do get the "wow, <insert company name here> must be paying you really well" Often, I brush these comments of as coming from the jealous type. True, I'm only 23 years old, but remember, I live at home, have a University education, do not drink or smoke AT ALL, rarely go out, and spend the majority of my social life in my garage!!! Hence, I can afford my extravagant payments on the S2000. Don't worry about the negative attention that the car is getting you....as most people have mentioned it's all a matter of jealousy.
Who cares what people "think" or "say" anyway??

Beware of the persons pointing fingers as they may actually be the guilty party. You may simply be a scape goat because of your fancy new wheels
Question everything, trust no one, consult HR, document, document, document. And at the end of the day when you are driving topless and enjoying life-that bas%$^d that accused you is broken down on the interstate in his 12 year old dodge pickup

My g/f collects a small sum off each of her old workmates (female) and buys a Gold Lotto ticket each week. They have some kind of plan or game or whatever going.

Anyway... about a year ago her ex-boss's daughter pipes up with "they must have won the Lotto and not told you girls... look at the car they're driving and now they've bought a jet-ski".

WTF?? Fortunately the other participants were smart enough to know that it wasn't the case. But it just goes to show you the mindset of some people. They just can't fathom that you might work hard 14 hours a day 6-7 days a week to get where you are.

It's a loser mentality.

Just tell him to f#@k off! That's all I gotta say, what more do you need anyway? If anyone tells me that in my face, I'll insult the hell out of him or her or give her my piece of mind big time.

"Australian Tall Poppy Syndrome." Some are damn proud of it, and some really make me want to put a punch in their face. I've heard people talking about my car once when I was at the lights saying ... "Look at this young Asian driving such a car, he must be a dealer or some sh!t." and gave me a dirty look. Damn! Is it drugs or criminal activity that only gets you established and successfully when you're young? I strongly doubt so. Anyway, I laugh and said, "Least you can't afford it, f@#king loser!" And drove off, they didn't dare do jack sh!t.
