Got smoked by a Supra

Met a red suppra on the freeway Sat. night at about 1:00am and we went at it. It wasn't even close as he took off on me like I was standing still. Conceding defeat, I gave him the flash, flash, of my high beams and he turned on his emergencies. When I got next to him I gave him the piece sign, and he signaled back.
Although it only lasted a couple of seconds, it was a nice show of cars and sportsmanship from the Supra after he smoked me. Pretty enjoyable couple of seconds, even though I was pretty much going all out and he left me like I was a civic. Damn those f'ing Supra's are fast. He had an exhaust, but can a stock Supra TT leave an S like that? I think its rated at 320hp stock, but is much heavier, and he took off on me in third gear like I was nothing.

He probably had more than just an exhaust! Those will easily get in the upper 500+ category. I have seen 900+ too!

Can you tell i dont know much about the Supra's except they are fast?! It might just be an inline 6 and if it is that would explain even more why its so fast and has so much torque! Less friction and all kinds of good things with a straight 6. I wish we had a straight 5!

YEAH!
The Japanese sports cars are definitely nice and performanc-oriented. However, they're aging and a bit played out for my non-modification tastes.
Believe me, I won't be racing any of those when my time comes. Thanks for the post, huyto.
