don't feel bad you got smoked...my friend's supra killed me too =) i'm telling you those things are the fastest things on the road...my friend has yet to upgrade the turbo's and he's pushing out 500+ hp at the flywheel and runs low 12 quarters...you know that feeling you get the gut of your stomach when you ride a rollercoaster??? well this car can give it to you...so don't feel bad...=)

Actually, I had my lady in the car and she was pretty surprised at how fast the Supra was too. Said I got Smoked.

yah, those things are SCARY fast man..the damn exhaust noise almost makes me deaf each time my friend warps ahead of me..

You said a stock 300ZX has a slight disadvantage on the S2000...Is this a stock twin turbo or stock base 300ZX? Because I thought someone was speaking about turbos? [yes, i know it sounds stupid and I'm probably just doing this to make sure my friend's 300ZX TwinTurbo can for sure beat, (kill) the S2K.] In the twisties too?

In reality, his car is heavily, HEAVILY modded , but I was wondering about the 300ZX twinturbo.

Bring a former owner of two TwinTurbo Supras (600hp and 450hp), I can say first hand that you DO NOT WANT TO GO AGAINST A SUPRA TT STRAIGHTLINE. Even stock, it's not a good proposition. Moded lightly, which most of them are, they can put around 450hp out and run around sub 5 second 0-60mp time, run mid 12 ET's, and peak out around 185 mph (AMHIK).

In fact, I raced my buds slightly moded 500hp Supra several Sundays ago from a stoplight and on the freeway. From a stoplight, I was able to keep up with him up until around 80mph when he just took off on me. On from a freeway roll of around 55mph, he just creamed my butt to the next city. I was breathing Forced Induction fumes from 80-125mph (had like 5 car lengths at least).

On twisties, that's another story!
