Default got a ticket from a friendly Los Gatos cop

Isn't that a rich town?
Why the hell would they set up a speed trap at the bottom of a steep hill on a highway?
I was caught doing 73 on a 50 zone leaving the mountains on 17 heading toward saratoga.
If I brake any harder, people would be slamming into me.

Sorry to hear that. They setup speed trap in that area all the time.
I though you live in NJ?
You are right. It is a Yuppy town with nice restaurants and a beautiful Ferrari Dealer right off the exit. Can not help dropping by and looking at the cars from the WRONG side of the fence.

I figured. Most of us leaving in this area know about this speed trap. I am not sure if this shows up on you licence or not.

I think cops back east are nicer and give you a break once in a while. I got stopped just 3 weeks ago in Redding, CT and for the first time in my life he let me go with a warning since I was new to the area.

That almost never happens here.

Los Gatos is a very nice, very affluent area.

The cops are typically nice but you're S.O.L. if you get popped on the 17. That HWY is notoriously dangerous and the cops are not lenient at all.

Yeah, I've been to Los Gatos before. Very small and affluent town. A co-worker of mine grew up there and his parents still live there.

Sorry to hear about your ticket. I guess they still need ways to make money.
