Default Gotta love "the system" in America - SSI FTW!

We have an employee (i thought he was a decent guy but..) who drinks a lot. He got drunk, wrecked his bicycle (he has had 2-3-4 prior DUI's so he rides a bike now) into a car about 6 months ago. He got hurt but not life threatening.

Now the ****er supposedly can't work (how about some light duty work???) and is applying for SSI. He is roughly 45 years old.

The guy caused his own problems and will now sit around collecting free $ and working side jobs for cash..... doh.... (we have other employees who have done the same, as well as many of my rental neighbors, etc....).... this seems to be the thing to do these days....

If the money is there, take it.

Works for government contracts too. . . and section 8 housing.

I am learning that my section 8 houses are not getting enough rent $ to cover the assholio problems when they leave..... I used to make fun of the landlords who charge top $ ($800+ a month where I am getting $650 a month)..... the joke is on me on that one..... i have spent $$$$$$ fixing their ****ups.......

We created the issue...

By installing back up alarms on delivery trucks. How many dumb people has this creation saved?

I believe in Natural Selection...or as a good friend (Ron) once shared, AutoDarwinism...

They typically have stiffer penalties for DUI, and then after a certain number of repeat offenses, they throw you in the mental institution (which means you don't serve a sentence, they have to decide to discharge you).
