Default Gran Turismo 3 question

How the heck do I change the volume of the sound effects and music? I can barely hear the music with engine roaring all the time!

There are no volume controls, just on/off. I personally turn off all of the music so I can crank the surround to really feel like you're in the car.

exactly. Is there a way you can go to a menu and "pick and play" music tracks and just stay in the menu?

Yes, there is a way just to play the music. You can also choose what songs go into the rotation and in what order. It is somewhere in the setup.

So you've done this before?

Depends on exactly what you're asking me. Yes, you can go into the music list and play it out side of racing. I have done it before. Technically speaking you could play the music at a party if you wanted to right out of your stereo.

I've never turned off the sound effects and left the music on while racing, but the options are there to allow it.

Hopefully I've answered your question otherwise I'm not quite sure what you're asking.

It worked-I know how to play the music now. But I still wish I could change the volume somehow.

Cool!

The only way I could even think of changing the volume seperately would be to line the audio into some kind of mixing equipment/software. Good luck!
