I just read on ign.com, that GT4 will not have online play, and now the release date is a month behind.. The Nov 14th is now December 14th and at some conference that this was announced, they said that theyll "try" to make this Dec. 14th release date. Im not disappointed by the online play, i mean i am but its not like i wont buy the game. Im more disappointed by the release date, thinking about the beginning of Oct i was saying to myself that this is the last and final month that ill have to wait for this god given gift (GT4)... BUT.. Also Need for speed Underground 2!! Is coming November 8th and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is coming OCTOBER 26th!!!! So, i dont know about you, but ill be occupied for awhile until the release of "the one". Ha. Sorry Ive just been really hyped about GT4 and now they pushed it back again.

Every time I play GT3 I get mad at the makers of the series, they could do so much more and won't. How about a little Ferrari action? McLaren F1? And don't say they can't get the rights, other games do it. Why don't they make a "Classic GT" where we can race all the old tracks with the new clarity (I miss Red Rock Valley and Rome Night!). Why doesn't the fastest lap for any given track stay at the top? Why are there only 6 tracks in "Run & Setting" Simulation Mode? Why the hell can't we change the tires on an F1 car? Why is there no Starion in the game?

read the articles on ign.com and u will have all your questions answered as far as the whole ferrari/porsche deal.

as for the limitations? i agree with you to an extent but gt3 akready gas SO much detail. if sony trys to put EVERY possible thing into this game, it would come in 15 dvds and be released when playstation12 comea out in the year 2055. then, someone else will wonder why the go-kart track in their home town isnt in the game cuz 'it would be a blast to see how the f1 cars perform on such a small and twisty track'

Yep yep, the released date has been pushed back once again. They are having problems with the game run smoothly online which is why they are taking online gaming off. One of the guys at a local Game Stop mentioned that it will come with two discs, the second one with the ability to still play multiplayers via LAN.

Just like everybody else, I'm waiting patiently for this game. I was always hyped up about GT2 & GT3 during it's times, but for some reason I'm not anymore with GT4. I believe this long wait is going to dissapoint me.

I thought it was supposed to be out last year.. I don't even care anymore, one day I'll walk by a store, see it and buy it.. they'll get my money when I'm damn good and ready.. hmm they'll get money, so do they really care?

No Ferrari, but good news for you. There's a McLaren F1 in GT4. It's the FINA one from Le Mans.

No online play? No reason to buy. You've done it all before in GT1,2,&3. There is a huge potential market for a online racing "world" where winnings against other humans allows you to upgrade or buy new cars. Maybe when GT5 comes out (after being pushed back 2 years from original release date. I guess I'll play www.liveforspeed.com until then!

XBOX has an exclusive deal with Ferrari... that's why there aren't any in the GT series.
