There is a lady that works here, who was highlighted in the newsletter. Under family it said something about a daughter and a graddaughter...... but the employee is only 34 years old!!!!

DAMN! I thought I was fairly young when my first son was born and i was 25 years old.

Anyone know any grandmothers who are in the 20's?

 

Two successive generations having kids at age 16 or 17 will do that. I imagine at one time it was very common, but not so anymore with women going to college and working.

Our paralegal is about to be a great grandmother at age 57. She married and had her daughter at age 19. Her daughter married and had a kid at 19. Now that child is married at 18 and is due this winter.

Grandmothers in their 20s would mean having kids around age 13 or 14. I'm sure it happens somewhere...

 

It is also possible that the "daughter" is a step-daughter from her husband and not her own natural-born child.

 

A ho begets another ho. SHe can be a great grandmother at 45

 

too bad she isn't married.

that's nothing. During my Medical training in Dallas. Parkland Hospital set some type of record for the youngest Grandmother. I beleive the grandmother was 22, and the mother was 11 or 10.

Sad, truely sad.

 

Well, you know how some women lie about their age.....

She might've told you 34, but she might be A LOT older... unless it was printed that she is 34, and even then....

 

A girl having a child at 17 and then that child becoming a mother or father at 17 makes the first mother a grandmother at 34
