grandmother at 34 years old?

Not so uncommon... I'm 45 and have 3 grandchildren ages 13, 12, 10. Was a grandfather at 32! We had our daughter when I was 16, my daughter had her first at 16, so if my oldest grandchild has a child at 16, I will be a great grandfather at 48

And yes... I'm educated as well. Have a PHD in Computer Science and my wife has a masters in finance

That's wonderfull. BUT, you must admit that you and yours are the exception and not the rule.

Me too.

My parents were married at 16 and had me in that same year. They are still together. Both my brother and I are college educated: me: BSEE,MSEE, MBA .....brother: BSME.

The best part was growing up with a very energetic & athletic father. We would play basketball for hours! We still lift weights and mountain bike together.

All you guys with old parents are really missing out!

i'm 20 and a granpa...its a stupid family tree thing. its not direct blood but cousin or some crap, nevertheless i am called grandpa....i feel so old
