GT3 F-094/S has Mojo!!!
Upon finishing GT3 and getting the coveted F-094/S car I found something interesting... There is no good reason why it's faster than the rest, but it is...
Funny thing is that it's exactly the same as the F-094/H car save for the designation and the rear DF being higher in the "S" car at 1.5 instead of 1.3 in the "H" car, however...it is faster for some odd reason. Maybe Damon Hill was heavier than Ayrton Senna? The #'s are as follows...
(400/1000/Top Speed)
Stock F-094/H with 1.3 RDF: 8.841/15.883/223.8
with 1.5 RDF: 8.879/15.945/225.1
***the times that I got with the "H" car were generally slower, but I used the one time I got that was faster than the rest. It was not duplicatable, but the car did do it.
Stock F-094/S with 1.5 RDF: 8.789/15.849/223.8
with 1.3 RDF: 8.813/15.849/225.1
Switchin the rear DF on these cars should make them equal, but it doesn't. Notice a few things here...
1. With both cars set to 1.5 RDF the "S" is faster by .090 in the 400, and by .034 in the 1000.
2. With both cars set to 1.3 RDF the "S" is faster by .028 in the 400, and by .096 in the 1000.
3. Note that the 1000 time doesn't change with the "S" car regardless of the RDF
, but it changes the "H" car by .062.
How much time do I have on Sundays? I think I've answered that question already. This difference seems small, but it can be worth at least a second on most tracks, and even up to 2.5 seconds on some.
Both cars did the same speed on the curved section of the High Speed Test Track...221mph with 1.5 RDF, and 222mph with 1.3 RDF, but the "S" car does seem to hustle around the track easier, though I'm not quite sure why.
More useless #'s in the future as boredom dictates.

Since I'm here talking to myself, I figured I'd talk a little more and see just how anal I can be...lol. Additions to the freaky "S" abound....
I decided to check out what losing some HP in the F1 cars would do to the performance (for my good friend S2R), and this is what I found...
The F-094/S is a trippy car all around, and from the new numbers I have I can tell you that it doesn't like to be messed with, it's set up perfect as it is and any dreams of squeezing quicker times from it by messing with the gears will result in sharp decreases in performance in other areas...leave it.
Also, unlike most cars on GT3, it loses HP in increments, not sure why this is, but it does. The car comes with 829HP (with oil change) and drops to 811, then to 806, 805 and so on...in no specific order mind you.
Onto the #'s...
The fastest 400 time I got out of the "S" was in stock form and with decreased HP...yup, you read it right. The stock 400 time with 829 HP is 8.789 , and is dead consistant, however, with the decreased 811 HP the time fell to 8.759 ...which is a trip. The 1000 time increased from 15.849 to 15.963 tho', and the Top Speed went from 224 to 206.5...I think. I say "I think" because as the car starts to climb the first corner it reaches 206.5, but on the straight it only reaches 203
.
Want one more twist?
The car loses HP as all the others do, but if you change the oil you GET IT BACK! How cool is that? Senna was something special, and so is his car.
I have a headache now...lol.
No more #'s to follow...hehe.

Dude, that's like a research paper you've got there.
I haven't really played with the settings, but I might try that to get either more acceleration or a higher top speed. I'll experiment later to see if it yields better lap times.
