I have a Lancer with all of the upgrades possible, it makes around 550 hp
Next project will be an S2000 .. I just started the Amature races and it looks like every series of race is long as hell!

Ok guys/gals, I'm having some problems:
What the hell can I do about tire wear? Some of the races are 5 laps and I can't go 5 laps without changing tires. I tried running super-softs and they were completely gone by the middle of the second lap. I switched to medium and they were gone by the end of the race and I still lost because of the bad tires. I tried going to the harder tires but I can't keep up. What's your strat for tire wear? Is it odd that my maxxed out NSX cannot keep up with the cars in the GT World Championchip race Amateur (sp) level? This is frustrating. I can't keep up with them in my maxxed S4 either!
Has anyone beat this series?

Skitz, you'll probably need a full racing car to win that race (the type you either win or spend a million+ credits on) and many like it. If you are racing against race cars, you pretty much need your own to beat them. Go check out some FAQs and find a race car type you'd like to have and race that cup til you win it, 1:4 chance each time. And you should be able to finish a 5 lap race with medium tires. Mine are pretty worn by the end but none are completely gone and usually the best cars will pit once giving me a huge lead to waste going slower as the tires wear.
Tonight, I should have enough to buy the Ruf $382,000.
My Skyline R34 has won most of my money. It does the 400m in 9.33. I think it's got 1042hp.
What's a good front wheel drive car? I have to start entering those races. I got the Type R with stage II turbo or stage II N/A (i forgot which one) and could only run high 14s. That thing is slow.

Afterburn, which RUF you talking about? I have a maxed CTR2 and it handles like crap. It has a turning radius that resembles that of the Titanic. I won plenty of races with it early, but only because its so ungodly fast accelerating I could just about stop at every corner to creep it around then lay back in on the gas.
If you are talking about the CTR2 and have some settings for me to try I'd love to hear them, I like the car but I spent a lot of time trying everything I could think of to make the car take a corner to no avail.
