Guess what competitor I saw today... (pics)
Yeah, it was quite a hit in the Bay Area... there are several others still around since there's a place up north selling the newer models that they just discontinued this year. In the sea of SUVs, it was a sight. 95% of the yahoos around here think offroading means driving on the overspill parking gravel lot while at the mall.
As for "Traffic", it was an interesting movie. I would say I didn't really love it or hate it. Clever editing and shooting, interesting use of colors, handheld in everyshot was a little too much. I'm really looking forward to "Brother Where Art Thou" and if you haven't already seen it, go to "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".

Wow loki, that is some well kept car! Don't worry about getting rid of it, I see they are importing the Mini Cooper S into the U.S. again. Not sure if it'll be this year or next. It sure would be fascinating to see the S2K up against a new model MC 'S" on the racetrack. My money would be on the MC. It has probably the best track record of any car in the world.
Re "Traffic". Great pity they didn't base the movie on the British T.V. mini series - which was enthralling and clever. Much better than the americanised movie, by far.
