just wondering if hamsters make good pets because my bro's friend is about to give him because hers gave birth.

does anybody know if they require alot of attention, cost, etc.

also are they well mannered or viscious little bastards??

Here was this perfectly normal question, and look how we've answered. We should be ashamed of ourselves. Honestly, they probably make as good a pet as mice, rats, or any other "tame" rodent. Personally, I wouldn't want something that wouldn't love me back. That's why I got a dog. Now that's a pet.

they're pretty quiet during the day, but don't keep it in your room. cuz they're nocturnal. so when you're trying to sleep, they're digging to china. know what i mean? you have to change out the shavings in their cage periodically. they don't need baths. they're not too high maintenance, but they're not like a dog or cat who will love on you. and i don't believe you can teach them tricks. hope that helps

You only have to go down south far enough and it's freely available. Generally char broiled.
I tried it last year and I didn't think much of it.
