Never understand how "designers" can sell bags for $2000 when the material is no where close to that cost.
Really? do you know what the cost of designers + + materials + manufacturing are? How about that exhaust that probably cost them 1/4th of the cost of what your paying. However, thats how you run a business.
Every business sells there products for 100%+ profit if your looking at just materials. But you don't see the costs of advertising, manufacturing, infrastructure costs; etc.

I wouldnt go with LV. Way played out by now and too many fakes.

I personally wouldnt spend 2k on a hand bag or purse for anyone, but I remember seeing a thread on HT about Fendi bags. Check them out.

The most expensive bag my wife has is a Kiki Pearl. Women drive her nuts wanting to ask about it and feel it. It is a nice bag and not horribly expensive.

If you buy it, you'd have a $700 fake. LV has the most fakes on the market, mainly because all Asian girls must have 'em.

very easily. You can tell just by touching the leather. Put a fake LV in front of me and i can tell within a minute.
Bullshit! Then you haven't seen the best counterfeit; you're talking about the normal to cheap knockoffs. I've seen a counterfeit LV with such superb quality and craftsmanship that it'd put the real LVs to shame.

Also think Corvette vs. 911.
You cannot just argue on function alone.
The "experience" is another component (and I'm not talking about prestige or something external).

Hellaflushers are worse than women with $2k purses IMHO. They spent money to lose function.
