I was reading my daily car forums and I went to one of the off-topic discussions. One topic was about body building, so I clicked on it to see what they were saying. One guy was asking about what forums there are for body building. One of the members pointed him to off-topic.net's health and fitness forum. The member also told the other guy to ask for John Doe (not his real name) on off-topic.net b/c he's a pretty big guy.

I usually don't like visiting off-topic.net b/c it's not really a car forum. Anyways, I went on the health and fitness forum, b/c I was interested in what they were posting. I saw some of John Doe's responses and I noticed he was from Dallas also. He's one of the moderators there and by reading some of the posts, alot of people have been asking him questions. I was also curious about which gym he works out at. He posted his AIM in his profile, so I thought I would IM him.

I asked him what gym he worked out at. He replied with the name of the gym and the street corners. Instantly, I was wondering who he was, since I've been workout at the same gym for about 4 years. I asked him what time he usually works out at and he replied back. Then, he told me his name and what he drove and BINGO, I knew exactly who he was. I've seen him there for around 3 or so years, but never talked to him. I never thought he would be the type of guy that visits car forums.

So it really is a small world...
