Having trouble sending to a Hotmail account
I've had trouble sending email to a couple of friends who have Hotmail accounts. I can send email to other people without Hotmail accounts so I know it's not on my end. They told me they have plenty of storage space so that's not the problem.
I'm getting error messages like this:
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 permit denied'
Anyone else having the same kind of trouble?

If I had to guess, I'd say Microsoft doesn't have your friends email paths correct on the server receiving you email, or your friends' accounts are locked, or some random spam filter blocked your email because of a bulk recipient list. Are you sure you have the correct addresses for them?

Microsoft Corp. said Friday that some people who use its Hotmail and MSN e-mail services are not receiving e-mail sent from Comcast Corp. accounts and other Internet service providers.
So who needs a Gmail invite?
