Default Healthy Snack Foods

What are some alternative snack foods that are on the healthy side? I like munching on wasabi peas, rice cakes, trail mix, etc.

What do you guys eat for snacks that aren't your typical cookies, chips, etc?

Although I generally try to avoid healthy foods, I also like to munch on edamame (especially when getting boozed up on sake), rice cakes, and wasabi peas. The wasabi peas, however, tend to have "disgestive consequences" a little later down the line.

Rice cakes and trail mixes aren't healthy either. Too much sugar in both.

Try nuts like almonds or peanuts, unsalted. Beef jerky is ok except the sodium. Other than that there really isn't anything that's healthy.

I always have a protein shake with flax seed oil as a snack..

Baby carrots and Ranch dressing. I know the ranch isn't too healthy, but it's so good. Cheese and crackers. and bacon.

Celery...takes more calories to digest than it contains! Toss some fat-free peanut butter on there and you may have a winner.
