Hell of a night
I've been there before. The perpetrator for me was raw oysters. UGH! Strangely, it took around 24 hours for symptoms to appear. Then the S### hit the fan. All night bent over the toilet. The next morning, I was hooked up to an IV. Not fun.
Dude I dont want to scare you but heres a quick anecdote:
My last day in Peru I chow down at a Peruvian bbq place. Stepping onto the plane I got really hot and started sweating and felt dizzy. I ended up on the throne every 30 minutes for 5 days! Never went to a doctor since I'm a hard headed A-hole so i never got it diagnosed. However, it seemed obvious to me. I dubbed that episode Atahualpa's revenge.
Hope your bout doesn't last that long, good luck - hope you have xtra TP.
