I hear you man. Right now I'm finishing up my last semester of college and I'm still driving around a 1986 VW Jetta Diesel with 52 hp... Can't really complain though cause it gets around cheaply.

As far as the job goes... I would try your local town hall. When I was 18 I worked at the local Athletic Field cutting grass, painting, ****ing around with the older guys and all for a pretty good pay. More than you would get at say any local electronic's store or anything at the mall.

 

first car was a 98 civic ex which went to hell after a year or so lol. im 20 with a s2k, worked for it, saved up and got the loan myself. paying APR out the ass though but man the car is sweet. anyway, it depends on what kind of job/hours you are looking for. if your looking to make money for awhile and chill on school till you firgure out what to do then go with a temp angency that does tempt o hire. i got hired after 6 mos been around for almost a year but im going to quit in the fall to go back to school full time. hoping to find a good paying job that does part time. i make 13/hr in the office no experience really. post a resume on monster.com. if your looking for part time the people down here make good money watching kids after school. 8.25/hr part time
