There's a scene in there where he crashes his Volvo into something head on to prove to a woman that she couldn't hold on to a baby in her arms during a plane crash. It was a pretty good movie, from what I remember.

I agree. I would focus on fixing the uncomfortable part. It's more effective than some web link with a gross picture.

And you can lead a woman to sensibile attitudes but you can't make her think.

The serious point here is that in the UK there was a big push against badly fitting or inappropriately worn seat belts and lap belts as they can actually cause paralysis due to your hips sliding under the belt and then your back takes all the strain. In a severe crash this can lead to snapping of the spinal column.

 

Tell her she doesnt have a choice, put your foot down.

after you see a few people smash their face into the window frame or get ejected entirely ,you wont need much convincing.

some of the ones from japan are just horrendous.
