Help me settle something, Who's the biggest Canadian band in the US?

Depending on your definition of 'band', I would say if you're using it to mean artist then I would have to say Nelly Furtado. I believe she just went triple platinum here and has been doing a bunch of collaborations lately with the likes of Missy Elliot and other big names.

Our Lady Peace is getting some airplay down here in LA. The Rush album I liked the best was Moving Pictures. Almost all the songs on the album were hits.

Way to cool, I guess If I tried to list all the popular US bands here in Canada, we would need another forum We get bombarded with US culture here. Even growing up I was watching Irve Weinstien on the news out of Buffalo.
Not that this is a bad thing. If it weren't for American bands even as recent as the early '90's we would have been stuck listening to Anne Murray all day.
We have to have a minimum Canadian content on our broadcast channels, and the things they woud make us watch and listen to was horrendous. It's nice to see we can give back a little.
