Default Help with Windows please.....

Can anyone tell me how to delete the contents of the "auto complete" in Windows??

For instance, certain sites that I log onto require a user name.... once you have typed this once, it will be displayed as soon as you type the first letter.....

Also when using yahoo for instance if I search for "S2000 international" then start typing to search for anything else starting with "s" the "S2000 international" is displayed as an auto complete. This means that when other people use my computer they can see a lot of information that I have typed in......

Can anyone help??

I had to do this to get all references to "porn", "nudity" etc out of my Google searches so that my wife wouldn't see.

Did you have that same problem T James?

Similar but not quite the same......

I use my work laptop at home, and we are not supposed to use them for personal internet access etc. Having huge long lists of searched for items tends to give away the fact that I have been on the internet!!!!!

Funnily enough, on the computer that I use all day (a different company) they don't mind us using the internet, even though this laptop is networked....

I guess different companies have different ideas on security.......
