HEROES
I dunno, the continuing stupidity of so many characters is starting to grate on my nerves. Hiro is the prime example, but by now pretty much all of the main "protagonists" have done so many retarded things that I can barely focus on enjoying the story at all.

i'm starting to like it. i'm glad that Peter lost his powers because he was becoming a major jacka$$
one annoyance was the fact that the ladies read up on the puppeteer and his powers yet they all walked in thinking they could just get him to give up or something. WTF!

Herein lies the problem. Because the writers have shown us the "future" in which we know 2012-Peter has all his powers, this past episode has essentially rewritten all the past episodes and the future. Everything the African saw can no longer happen.
Well, the whole thing with Mr Petrelli taking Peter's power is somewhat
.
Peter's power is that he can use anyone's ability that he has met; essentially by thinking about them - except Claire's power which has somehow become innate. So Mr Petrelli "stole" Peter's power, but has Mr Petrelli met all the people that Peter did?
This is basically a Swiss cheese plot. And each episode creates more holes, not fewer.

not true, we don't know if peter could regain his powers yet, sylar lost his once and got them back so its possible.
Peter just had all of his powers removed from him by his father. Did this include his innate ability to mimic powers from people he has witnessed powers from? I would have to say yes....If his fathers power is to be able to suck out the powers of others forever, why would he leave his sons only ability to stop him again down the road. Simply remove all of peters powers and be done with him. One less variable to stop you down the road...right?

Yeah, Sylar's power wasn't taken away, just his database.
The only way Mr Petrelli could have taken Peter's force lightning but not his innate power was to take his memory.

Sylar seems to get his powers by taking a piece of the person's brain. Claire's regenerative powers allowed that piece to grow back so she retained her powers.
Peter gets his powers once he has seen someone else use them.
Mr. Petrelli (father) sucks people's powers from them completely. That is why when he sucked Adam Monroe's powers he turned into dust, since Adam would essentially be over 200 years old.
