I disagree, the fact that Adam doesn't age means his powers are keeping him alive. So without his powers he turns into dust.

I'll throw my two cents in:
I agree with Jake. Adams powers kept him from aging/heal so once they were taken away, he would begin to age and be vulnerable. If, by taking away the power, you stripped the person of any benifits it gave them, Peter would all of a sudden have a bunch of injuries b/c Claire's healing power was gone.

 

His powers weren't keeping him alive, he just didn't age. His powers kept him from aging and made him heal, they weren't a life support system. Plus, Steve is a surgeon, who can disagree with his medical analysis. Sup Steve!

 

I missed the episode where they take the powers anyone have a link?

2nd - That's ridiculous, if his powers kept him from aging then they kept him alive.

3rd - I don't care if Steve is a surgeon, I stayed at a Holiday Inn!

 

I understand he's not 'really' back, but its all a plot twist to me. The character is back and he's doing the same thing he was doing before he was 'killed'.

 

In a sense yes they kept him alive, but by taking his powers he doesn't insta-age in seconds.
