I am a full-time student as well and there are TONS of jobs in my school. If nothing else, you could work for your school cafeteria?
Are you good with computers? there are always computer-related jobs in the school.

I hear mcdonalds is usually hiring. For some reason they go through employees quickly

Be willing to swallow your pride when you first start out and work hard at anything you do. You may have to take a job that aint glamorous to get those forst references, but it all adds up so long as you do good.

I had to climb into greasy AirCon and Ventilation shafts to clean filters at a manufacturing site when i first started working, but I did a damn fine job of it. That reference got me a "cleaner" job dealing with people, which then got me into some cool retail jobs, which then led all the way to me being national sales manager at a privately held company.

Work hard, be consistant and learn from every job, and remember that sometimes what you learn aint just about the job. Good luck!

One of the jobs I had when I was a full time college student was working for a bank as a vault teller. I only had to go to work 2 days out of the week and they paid fairly well.

You can find a lot of part time jobs. Go to your schools job center.
