Arrow Hot Import Nights-SF

Just got back from Hot Import Nights in San Fran. I got to say I was a little disapointed. The cops were hating on anyone who did not have a front liscense plate. I was one of the lucky ones that got away. To the cops in SF all I got to say is HAAAAATERS!!!!!

Isn't it a law in CA that you must have a front licence plate? I'm sorry but enforcing a law and hating are not the same thing.

i have a front plate on my car, but i really do not see the point of having one.

i mean, if it's used to identify a vehicle, what's the use of having a front plate? when the police are tailing you all they see is the back and the majority of the time, when a car leaves a scene of an accident or something it's almost always the rear one they see.

It just blows my mind that on any other day the Police wouldn't look twice but when there is an event where people with modified cars get together that's when the front liscense plate law gets enforced. Don't get me wrong....I don't hate the police....hate and hating are two totally differant things. Maybe this is just a Nor Cal saying. Anyways, anyone who attended the event would probally tell you the same.

what are you talking about?? SF does this all the time, regardless if there is an import event or not. SF regularly has a night time metermaid crew driving around just to cite cars with no front liscense plate parked on the streets.

Weird.. I live in SF and after 8 years of driving, I've only been tagged for no front plate once.. and that was because I was speeding and he wanted to let me go on a lower charge.

Next time I'll be smarter and put the front liscense plat on. Then there'll be no excuses. AZDelt and Presedente, point taken. The law is the law.
