The story is a little sappy but I love our dogs. When my mom told me we were getting poodles I laughed, but they have been my best friends now for years. The one in the front is going blind, I feel so bad for him.

Yes, I didn't mean to imply that this owner was cruel.

Although I do believe that owning a pet should require more than a few dollars and a trip to the pet store. Too many people grow bored with a pet and decide it is disposable. It REALLY angers me. We would never allow that to happen to a child.
