How did you propose?
How did you guys propose to your wife/fiance? Specifically, how did you give her the ring? Give her the box and let her open it? Hand her the box and open it for her to expose the ring? Just give her the ring? Hide the ring in like a stuffed animal for her to find? etc...
And yea in case your asking, I'm proposing in a month.

I personally haven't proposed yet, but as much as I've seen on T.V you get on your knees, say a bunch of lovey dovey stuff, take out the ring from your pocket, open the box, let her look at it, and while she's being distracted by the beauty of the ring, you pop the question.
i proposed to someone when i was 18 cuz i was dumb......
i gathered up all the nice pictures she and i had together and put them in a little album. so i told her to look through it since i made this nice little gift for her. so she flipped through the pages and when she finally flipped that last picture over, there was the ringy ding ding, right there on the final empty page......
but you make sure she doesn't start from the back or else it's ruined.

Remember, it's about making a commitment for the rest of your lives. If she needs to be swayed by a fancy song and dance, then it's probably not based on a strong foundation.
I'm in favor of looking into her eyes and giving her a little speech about what exactly she means to you, dropping to one knee, and ask.
Put your planning into making the night beforehand special, but when it comes to the actual deed, don't let your real message get lost in all the hoopla. Make sure she knows that you mean it.
